Gonzales County Area Go Texan Steak Dinner Fundraiser

The Gonzales SouthStar Bank team participated in the Gonzales County Area Go Texan Steak Dinner Fundraiser. The event is held annually to raise money for scholarships, which are awarded to qualified students of Gonzales County. Our staff joined in on the festivities by sponsoring a table at the event.

Gonzales County Area Go Texan strives to help local students reach their higher education goals with this event. The organization is a 501c3 and works to promote the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo through ticket sales and show participation. This year’s event included a steak dinner with all the sides, dessert, a live auction, a silent auction, and entertainment from the Can’t Hardly Playboys.

SouthStar Bank is delighted to support the local youth through this fundraiser and is excited to see the success these students achieve.
