Dylan Wald, Vice President of Lending | SouthStar Bank Southwest Austin

Dylan Wald is located at the SouthStar Bank Southwest Austin Branch as a Vice President of Lending. Working in the industry for the last six years, Dylan started his career in a teller position and was quickly promoted up the ranks to customer service, Business Development, Lending Assistant, Underwriter, and now VP of Lending. In his past role, he assisted with the opening of a Loan Processing Office in Austin. During this time, Dylan played an essential role growing the branches assets from $0 to $100 million.  

Dylan currently specializes in Commercial Real Estate and Investment properties. The ability to “build long lasting relationships with his clients and watching them grow and succeed,” is what Dylan considers to be the best part of his job.

In his community, Dylan is a member of the Austin Young Chamber and the Westlake Chamber of Commerce. Dylan likes to spend his time outside of the office with his wife Julie and daughter Emilia. He also enjoys the great outdoors and will participate in any activity including golfing, hiking, and fishing.
