Norma’s House Bingo, Bags, and Badges Fundraiser

Norma’s House in Gonzales, TX held their annual fundraiser Bingo, Bags, and Badges to raise money for children in need. The SouthStar Bank Gonzales Branch participated in the event as a table sponsor.

Norma’s House opened in 1997 with the goal to provide local and timely recognition of child abuse and treatment of victims while minimizing the trauma they experienced. Over the years, the area that Norma’s House serves has expanded now including Lavaca County. Bingo, Bags, and Badges is the annual fundraiser put on by Norma’s House. The organization partners with local first responders to model all of the donated bags. Throughout the event, there are 20 games of Bingo, a silent auction, and a cash bar. The money raised will be used to provide counseling to children who have fallen victim to physical abuse and sexual assault.
